My friend dropped her phone into the toilet. And it rang while it was down there - not for long, but she never found out just who was calling her.

Hey babe, I forgot to tell you that Tristan had a similar scarey tea incident, he set his phone and cup of tea down specifically side by side, went to have a shower and when he came back the phone was IN the cup of tea. He was understandably quite upset, a) because it was nice tea, he'd been enjoying it and b) there was absolutely nobody else in the house to explain it. Sometimes objects just have to dive into liquid of their own accord. Perhaps if they want it so much they should be allowed to stay there

In my own defense, I would like to point out that in each situation, the toilet has been...well, not previously utilised. Fortunately.

I feel like Henry Kissinger in that episode of The Simpsons.

oh, man was YOUR toilet training messed up. You're supposed to leave them in there, Aimee.

Still, it's never too late to learn.
